Hi, I’m Kas — a pet lover and the proud pawrent of Max and Jade, the heart and soul behind PawsyFurJoy.
I adopted Max and Jade, in 2013, and our journey together has been full of love, learning, and moments that stretch the heart in ways you never expect. Like many pet parents, I’ve faced challenges that made me feel unsure and stretched, but also showed me how precious every moment with our furry friends truly is.
In 2019, Max was diagnosed with lymphoma. I thought I might lose him forever. After a tough surgery to remove part of his intestine, seeing him bounce back was one of the most joyful moments I’ve ever experienced.
Jade has her own story, too — after noticing changes in her behavior, she was diagnosed with feline tooth resorption and had to have four teeth removed. These experiences deepened my commitment to listening, learning, and caring with all my heart.
Though my story is with cats, I grew up with a husky named Astor, and every time I see a dog or cat, I can’t help but stop to pet them. PawsyFurJoy is for both cats and dogs — and all the wonderful pets who bring joy to our lives.
